The Antics of Michel Gondry.

| | Comments (0)

I was on the YouTube the other day, when I ran into this video that Michel Gondry put up awhile ago. He has one other as well, that's much shorter and is currently one of the featured videos on the front page.

Among others, check out the HP commercial that features him, as well as the Levi's commercial that he directed some time ago and if you haven't been assulted with the song yet, take a look at the music video he directed for Sir Paul.

Cat Power.

Yesterday, I got to see a great performance from Cat Power, over at the Phoenix. As others have stated, Chan Marshall's recent performances have been night and day, from the old Cat Power of unpredictability and nervous breakdowns, so I wasn't too concerned about the relatively high ticket price and the potential for disaster.

After enjoying about 90 minutes of music, the band left the stage and didn't return for an encore, although the crowd did put down more than 5 minutes of loud cheering and it could have been longer, but we left at that point.

You can find the pictures from the show here.

Feel free to drop by the 'phlog' section and take a look at the fireworks photos (which didn't turn out so well). Also, I've altered the photo section of the site, so let me know what you think of the new layout for viewing photos.
