So... my bicycle was stolen today. That's all.

Movies and Music.

So I saw a movie on Sunday night, by the name of 'Michael Clayton'. I needed to distract myself from a long and forgettable day, so I made an impromptu decision to hop on the subway and catch the 10:10 at the Varsity. There were many favourite parts for me, but one in particular, was when the end credits started to roll. No, it wasn't because I disliked the movie (far from it), but the way they did it was really nice. The story meanders a bit, but overall, enjoyable. George Clooney will generate a lot of buzz for this. He really was on his game and even in places where the movie might not have been as compelling, his mere presence made it so, with the performance. Naturally, all other movies released this week, stank. Ben Affleck is making his comeback this Friday, when Gone Baby Gone comes out and with all the 'positive' surrounding it, I think I'll take a look.

Last night, I finally listened to the new Radiohead album, 'In Rainbows' and I really love it. Some people have stated that it's simply Thom Yorke's 'Eraser', with the rest of the band and may I point out that these people are either deaf, or haven't actually listened to 'Eraser' (and uh... no offense to any of you that may have shared that sentiment?).

Being Nickel and Dimed to Death.

Yesterday, my bank took out about 20 dollars in service fees, for their month-end cash grab. Feeling violated, I opened up a new account with President's Choice (yes, the people that make food), so I could take advantage of not paying any fees, ever again.

I look forward to calling the Bank of Montreal and telling them to blow it out their ass, or perhaps... to die, with the option of eating shit, before said death.

On my way out, I saw a very elderly man blocking the entrance with his large Mercedes. He was sitting slumped to the left with his hand over his heart and parked diagonally up on the sidewalk. Thinking he may have had a heart attack, I went inside and got an employee out to see if he was alright. False alarm, as the old duffer had just decided to take a nap in his running car, up on the curb, in front of a supermarket.

Lastly, Neil rightly mentions that Wes Anderson's latest, has a trailer. Thank-you Neil.

I happen to have lived with two complete and utter douchebags, who cancelled our internet with about oh... 30 seconds notice (I'm actually not joking about the time given), which was more than mildly inconvenient for a few of the PhD and masters hopefuls in the house.

And me.

Are You Happy?

Are you truly content with your life?

I've been struggling lately, with my life's purpose. Like most everyone else, I want to exist in a happy place living a fulfilled life, but how many of us are there, or are going to get there? Sure it's possible, but it often-times doesn't seem entirely probable. Am I doing the right thing? Living the right way? Making the right choices? Who's to say, but it all seems very unsettling to be unsure of how you've done, until it's practically over.
